IT TAKES A VILLAGE
When the community comes together, big things happen. Interfaith Community Outreach was contacted by an elderly resident needing help with her HVAC system. After speaking to the resident, it was clear that she was on a very tight budget. When you’re on a fixed income and when anything goes wrong, there is not much in the budget to cover repairs. After making some calls, starting with Dare County Department of Social Serivces, we knew we all needed to colloborate together to get this elderly resident the help she needed. Big things happened! The resident was able to get a new HVAC System installed. A big thank you to our amazing community and everyone who helped to make this happen:
